Brynn Morse, 17, is currently a senior at Whitefish High School. Brynn was born in Whitefish, Montana, growing up outdoors, skiing, and playing soccer. Though she has danced since she was 3, Brynn joined Dance Elements in 2017 and feels grateful for all the minutes in the studio. She feels happy to have experienced so many performances with her fellow dancers that became family. Brynn has been a part of Junior Movement, Elements United, and is currently in Collide, Elite, and Movement. Outside of dance, Brynn enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing soccer, creating art, listening to music, traveling to new places, and eating good food. Next year Brynn plans to attend Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, possibly majoring in Business. Brynn wants to show gratitude to her family who have supported and loved her all throughout her dance career and her dance teachers that work constantly to provide an amazing dance environment. Each family member has shown support in different, kind ways. Each individual dance teacher has provided different styles of dance showing her how to be confident and express herself in this art form. A piece of advice she wants to share is “Take it day by day.” In times of stress and hardship, take it easy, turn on music, and dance. Finally, Brynn wants her dance-mates to know how much she adores them. Entering this new chapter of life is exciting, but these dancers, teachers, and this dance studio have made it hard to say goodbye.
Lauren Rossi, 18, is a senior at Whitefish High School. Since Lauren could walk, she’s always chosen to dance. Her dance journey began at age 2, with little kid ballet classes and gymnastics. When she moved to Whitefish in 2012, Lauren began tap classes with Feat X Feet, where she enjoyed the different approaches to dance and the musicality that came with tap. She continued tapping until 5th grade when she first got introduced to Dance Elements. Lauren was brought to “Bring a Friend Week” as a friend and instantly felt at home at the DE Studio. She joined dance the next season and has enjoyed taking classes in every style with every teacher. During her time with Dance Elements, she has been in Junior Movement, Elements United, Collide, Movement, Elite, and Tempo Tap. This year, she has enjoyed choreographing her solo, as well as a small group dance called “Mystery of Love.” She loved experimenting with choreography this year and is excited for everyone to see it! Outside of dance, Lauren spends her time in nature with her friends, working at Crema Coffee, leading and participating in multiple clubs at school, planting in the greenhouse, and hammocking by the lake. While she is still unsure of which college she will go to, Lauren plans to head out of state for school, and she will major in environmental science and hopefully minor in dance. While she is incredibly grateful for everyone who helped her get where she is now, Lauren would especially like to thank her older sister, Kathryn, for teaching her that it is never silly to do what you’re passionate about. She is also so grateful to the Dance Elements teachers for making dance her forever home.
Witney Workman, 17, is currently a senior at Whitefish High School. Witney was born in Wisconsin, where she began dancing at the age of 3. She started dancing at Dance Elements in 2018. She has been a part of Junior Movement, Elements United, and is currently in Movement and Collide. Outside of dance, Witney enjoys flying airplanes, peaking mountains, and exploring coral reefs. Witney loves everything outdoors and on the water. This summer, Witney will be heading to the Coast Guard Academy where she will major in Marine and Environmental Science, while preparing to become an Officer in the Coast Guard. Witney would like to thank her parents for supporting her in all of her endeavors. From running a marathon, to getting her pilot's license, to going to a military academy, they have always been by her side. Witney is incredibly grateful for all of the people at Dance Elements. She appreciates the love and dedication that Amy and Kate put into every dance. She has loved getting to dance alongside many talented and kind students, especially her best friend Vanessa Soloman. Dance has always been a major part of Witney’s life. It has taught her how to be graceful, strong, and aware. After dancing at five different studios, there is nothing that compares to the family environment that Dance Elements creates. It truly is the people that make the studio unique. Witney will always remember the memories that dance has given her and cherish the people it brought into her life.
Addison Woody, 18, is a senior at Whitefish High School. Born and raised in Whitefish, Montana, she has been passionate about skiing, soccer, golf, and dance. Addison began dancing at the age of 3 and joined Dance Elements when she was 7 years old. She has been a member of Mini Elements, Jr. Movement, Elements United, and is currently part of the Movement and Collide Companies. From the moment she could walk, Addison has loved to dance. It has provided her with a powerful way to express herself emotionally while forming meaningful connections with others. Despite her love for dance, Addison’s journey has not been easy. Yet, through every hardship, she pushed forward with determination and grace. Even when the odds seemed stacked against her, Addison refused to give up on her dreams. Her ability to stay positive and persevere, even in the toughest times, is a testament to her strength and resilience. In the fall of 2025, Addison will attend Montana State University to pursue a degree in Nursing. She has a deep understanding of others and a natural ability to connect with people. Outside of dance, Addison enjoys spending time with her friends and family, working at Huck’s Place, and going on adventures such as hiking, paddle boarding, and camping. She feels most free when she is outdoors, surrounded by nature and in a place where she can escape the pressures of everyday life. Addison is incredibly grateful for the support of her mom, Rhonda, and her sister, Makenna, who have always been her biggest cheerleaders. Without their love and encouragement, she would not be where she is today. She would also like to thank everyone who has believed in her, especially her dance teachers, for their unwavering support and for making the studio feel like a second home.
All company members are held to a higher standard and are expected to take 2 additional core classes on top of company classes to ensure that standard is met. Future company members are determined by skill level and determination; not necessarily by age.
